I think it's just a way to show how oh so important the (redundant yearly same old same old) memorial is compared to the rest of the meetings.
Not that the other meetings aren't important.
That's their view.
will the tms/bs get rescheduled?
?.

Yeah, no meetings held or made up if Memorial falls on the same night.
hello my fellow jwners.
i have been going the local unitarian church off and on for a few years.
my kids and i go regularly now and love it.
I agree and am glad you found the UU's:)
I found my experience with them very refreshing.
They are all about serving others in practical ways and co-existing.
since nearly being consumed by witness mentality as an almost baptised member but thankfully due to my fantastic wifes scepticism toward it, i have now embarked on a voracious capacity for reading all the books that were once excluded from my list to get a total rounded out experience of life from the communist manifesto to atlas shrugged, wealth of nations, the age of reason, robert anton wilson, the koran and dare i say it mein kamf, the vedas, but i am still a bit frightened of the golden bough due to the residue of the jw's.
all knowledge must be good, i've read the bible and but it seem a bit meh!, all books have some interesting points, except the nazi one but it's good to read anything you can!.
anybody else obssesed with reading!!.
I'm a naturally voracious reader, even if I wasn't born-in.
oldflame's post got me thinking about it.
i've never asked other people about how common it is, but it's pretty scary.. basically your body is asleep and paralyzed, but your mind is awake.
sometimes you get a feeling of dread, othertimes of euphoria.
I was a small child when it happened and we all thought it was demons from garage sale items.

Yes to all the above. Scary!
I learned how to talk (think) myself through it, though, as I experienced auditory hallucinations in the form of extremely loud tinitus that was like a demonic scene in a movie.
These experiences terrorized my childhood sleep about twice a month.
I haven't had any more of them for around 10 years now. (I'm 43).
will it put pressure on politicians to approve the keystone pipeline.. should the nation's refineries stop selling as much gasoline as exports.. how does +$4.00 gasoline affect your monthly budget, how do you adjust..
Why is it so much more in the UK?
i tried it, could not swallow all the lies and misinformation they had.
i am sorry, but even if you deny the whole witness faith, there is still parts to christianity that they pointed out that you can not just ignore and act like it is okay to join another faith that is christian.
are you going to become catholic when your know their history?
I'm Wiccan but find Catholicism draws me, too.
I can pick and choose how to use it because that is my right as a human being.
I can do whatever I want that makes me feel whole and satisfied in my soul.
So, I sort of call myself a Catholic witch, like my childhood friend calls herself.
Mass is very relaxing and meditative.
i wonder how many witnesses actually believe their religion.
what do you think?.
Violia,
I think that brother was staying in to help others out.
Maybe.

Growing up and into my adulthood I did believe it was true, but I also found it most cumbersome and difficult to live with.
I really wanted the holidays and birthdays.
I didn't want my religion to be the right one, but it was and I had to deal with it.
What a relief to find out it was just a bunch of sheiss!
PS And prophesy was completely lost on me. I just didn't care enough to learn it.
I had no idea that it was because it kept changing. I never noticed the changes when they happened.
I just obeyed the rules and went to the khall, all the while wishing it wasn't the truth. That was it.
